Hinterthal is a small, authentic Austrian village at about 1,020 m altitude in the state of Salzburg. Hinterthal has a central location in the Ski Amade, in Salzburgerland and only an hour by road from the beautiful City of Salzburg this area is a haven for both Summer & Winter holidays. With one ski pass, you have access to the huge Ski Armade region – 25 resorts with 865 km of well-groomed slopes!

In the Summer walking, cycling, mountain biking, golf, horse riding, swimming, rock climbing & even tobogganing & high wire courses mean there is something to do for all ages. Hinterthal is a great base for exploring the many attractions the region has to offer. The Kimmel waterfalls, the Ice Caves & the Grossglockner are easily accessible. Zell is See with its beautiful lake and the glacier at Kaprun with it’s all year round skiing are not far away. The area is also famous for its natural spas, so if all the activity has worn you out there are fabulous places to relax & be pampered!

Hinterthal is a quiet and scenically situated village with plenty of restaurant & dining facilities.
